What a place to walk!

Of course you have chosen to come to the Peak District so that was a great decision, and you will love Bailey's Barn for its location too. It is a "chocolate box" cottage in a popular village in the Peak District, with outstanding views.

We are over 850' above sea level and almost the highest point for mile around. There is no higher land east of here until you get to The Urals in Russia.

We have OS landranger and leisure maps covering the peak district and local walking maps and books to borrow. we've also put together some routes for walking locally to understand more about Bonsall.

The village of Bonsall has a long history and there are several heritage walks, published locally on notice boards and leaflets.

Whether it is a morning stroll or a challenging one day hike, Bailey's Barn is a great place to come home to at any time of year. With a heated warming cupboard for wet coats and boots and a wood burning stove for chilly days or a lovely sunny courtyard and stable door for enjoying warm Spring and Summer days it is a great choice all year round.

You can book Bailey's Barn for short breaks or weeks all year round.
